Abstract
Bucknell University’s dependence on precious potable water is reducing due to the highly successful partnership between students and staff who together leverage a green revolving loan fund as seed money to research, develop and manage water efficiency and conservation projects on campus. Kinney Natatorium is one location where innovative approaches to water use have been implemented. Bucknell Facilities Management understands the importance of reducing wastewater plant effluent discharged to the Susquehanna River, therefore, water stewardship has become a top priority for the University.
